Where and when is Jumanji Festival?

The Melbourne event will take place on Friday 9 March 2018 at the Melbourne Showgrounds, Epsom Rd, Ascot Vale VIC 3032. Click here for more venue details of Melbourne Showgrounds: https://www.melbourneshowgrounds.com

The Sydney event will take place on Saturday 10 March 2018 at Parramatta Park, corner of Pitt St & Macquarie St, Parramatta NSW 2150.

Is there car park on site?

There is not a designated carpark on either the Melbourne or Sydney sites.

There will however be a designated drop off and pick area made available for those patrons travelling by vehicle. Parking is extremely limited in the surrounding areas and patrons are encouraged to use public transport to attend both events.


How do I get to Jumanji Festival in my city?

Melbourne Showgrounds:


The Melbourne Showgrounds train station will NOT be operating for the Jumanji event.


There are multiple tram stops near the Melbourne Showgrounds on Epsom Road. Route 57 tram (West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street, City), stops at stop 32 (Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre on Epsom Road).

Please note that the previously serviced stop 33 is no longer in use.


Melbourne Showgrounds has bus stops near the venue on both Langs and Epsom Roads. Bus No. 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops along Langs Road. Bus No. 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops on the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale.


Parramatta Park:


Parramatta Park is a short walk from both Parramatta and Westmead train stations. The Event ticket includes travel on Sydney Trains and NSW Trainlink (non-reserved bookings) networks to and from the event.


Parramatta Park is a short walk from the Charles Street wharf along pleasant riverside walking paths.


Parramatta bus terminal is located next to the Parramatta train station in Darcy and Argyle Streets.


Will I need to bring I.D?

Yes, if you are over 18 and want to enter the licenced area. Valid Australian driver's license, valid passport or Government approved ID card containing a photograph and date of birth will be acceptable.


The following forms of ID are not permitted: International driver’s license, birth certificates, school ID, consular ID or photocopies of any ID.


What is the minimum age for entry?

You must be fifteen years or older to be admitted into Jumanji Festival. Permission from a parent or guardian will not be permitted if you are under the age of fifteen.


Will there be disabled access?

Both festival sites have wheelchair access entry points along with bathroom facilities.


Will there be security at the event?

Licensed security personnel will be on site at both festivals. They will assist in ensuring a safe environment is provided manning all entry points at the gates run smoothly, conducting searches and confiscating any hazardous materials. 


Can I bring alcohol?

You cannot BYO alcohol to the event, however alcohol it will be available for purchase in designated +18 areas.


Can I bring food?

You cannot bring your own food to the event, however food trucks will be stationed throughout the site and food will be available for purchase.


Can I bring a camera?

Yes, mobile phones and pocket digital cameras are permitted so that you can capture the synergy of Jumanji. Only people who have official press accreditation will be allowed to bring professional cameras and video cameras, otherwise they will be confiscated. 


Can I pay by card?

Cards can be used at the main bar areas, food vendors and merch stands.

Some vendor may not have EFTPOS facilities however there will be ATMs on site to withdraw cash.


Can I leave the festival and come back?

There are no pass outs to Jumanji Festival. Once you have left the festival, re-entry is NOT permitted. 


Can I smoke?

Smoking is not permitted at both festival sites.
